Life is so beautiful that death has fallen in love with it
- Life of Pi
Death has been a serious fear of mine - not only me but others as well. It just struck me again - the fear I had been neglecting for so long. It may not be the best topic to write but it truly has impact on our thoughts and feelings. Face it - even if you say that you're not afraid of dying when you're actually stuck in a situation with your life at stake, you say things you had been keeping inside your heart, as your last words. You even reminisce the moments where you felt happy, sad or even had mixed emotions. You go back to past and lock it in your heart forever. It's ironic but it's true. And that's how life works - whether you like it or not.
Death is left unexplained by many scholars. And the reason is that no body knows what lies ahead of it. There are several theories but none has the right evidence to support their queries. Sad, it seems like it. You can't order someone who just died to go back and tell where and what he/she experienced after death. That's just impossible, definitely.
Going back to life, death cannot be avoided by anyone. People will die along the way. Young or old, death chooses everyone. Not even one person could escape it. Science might prolong our life but death will always come in unimagined ways - fatal disease, accidents and many others. It always tags along us - no matter where we go. But that's also the reason why we must live our lives to the fullest of our capacities because we'll never know when death has already put a check mark on your name next.
