I forgot to post this last March. I copied this from my Livejournal account. :)

I HAD A BLAST!

My friend, Camille, and I went to FT Island's concert, held at the PICC Plenary Hall - March 6, 2010.
After we dashed out of school, away from our sucky diagnostic test which I probably slept through after I finished it, we went straight to my house and got dressed for the event. When I say 'dressed', we really had a wild makeover - sponsored by my mother. :))

We got there around 6 PM but the concert hasn't started already. In our dresses, boots and fancy sandals, we walked around the lobby - completely mortified because the others were just wearing casual clothes and that just sucks for us - big time. The concert started around 7. As soon as the Korean boy band appeared on stage, fans - like us - started screaming wildy which, I must say, is quite annoying but fun. It actually adds to the atmosphere inside the hall and that made us forget about our 101 fashion disaster.

Lee Hongki, eventhough sick, performed consecutive numbers, taking small breaks to drink water. That made him very professional - really. Jaejin, Jonghoon, and Songhyun were looking great with those guitar and backup singing skills. Min Hwan, although away from the other four members because of his drums, exuded an irresistible charisma so that you may never forget who's behind those awesome banging sounds. Hey, everyone just got to love those drums, right?

The host was Grace Lee, a korean herself who lives and works here in the Philippines as a DJ, Radio Broadcaster and host. She was the communicator between FT Island and the crowd. She asked several things.
[Not the exact conversation. Just rewound my memory.]

GRACE: How do you find Philippines?
HONGKI: It's very hot in here.
GRACE: I know. It must have been the first time for you guys to experience such weather.

I like the part where Jonghoon couldn't say anything but AH, UM, EE, AHH, UM and more of those. And the most funny part if when he said, "I don't know" (way he spoke: I dun kno) XD. That was the time his face kept flashing on the screen and fans threw wild shouts at him. XD You just gotta love him, ne?

GRACE: How do you find Filipino people?
HONGKI: Maganda babae. Maganda lalake.
(I laughed at this. Really.)

GRACE: In a girl, what is the first thing you look at?
HONGKI: *thinks about it* The legs.
GRACE: *laughs* Really?
HONGKI: Yes, we and, jonghoon, have the same like.
GRACE: *turns to Jonghoon* Is what he saying true?
JONGHOON: Uh. Yeah. *Shyly smiles*
GRACE: *Walks over to Jaejin* How about you, Jaejin?
JAEJIN: *looks at her and thinks* the eyes.
GRACE: Nice. *turns to Songhyun*
SONGHYUN: -I forgot what he said but I think it's the hair-
HONGKI: *Gets the mic* Liar. You look at legs too.
GRACE: *Laughs loudly* Is that true, Songhyun?
SONGHYUN: Well, yes.
GRACE: Okay. Now that we're done. Let us ----
Fan screams *You forgot Min Hwan! Min Hwan!*
GRACE: *looks at the back and finds Min hwan* Hey! I almost forgot you. Come down there.
MIN HWAN: *Scratches his head and goes down, not knowing what's happening* *fans scream*
GRACE: How about you, Min Hwan?
MIN HWAN: The eyes, too.

But my favorite part is when FT 's first performance ended, Grace entered the stage and Hongki drank water, looked at her and asked in a serious face, "WHO ARE YOU?"

That had me laughing. Really.

OH! They did not really speak in English nor Tagalog. Grace just translated it for the fans.

The concert was wild and full of screaming. However, it was still uber fun. Really. What would a concert be without screaming fans, right? FT Island ended the night with the song PRIMADONNA, a famous song of them. I really thought they were gonna leave but the fans kept screaming "WE WANT MORE! WE WANT MORE!". So, Hongki, obviously having a severe cough, accepted the request and proceeded with one song. I think they really prepared that song for the last one.

So that was it.

I bought three albums and spent nearly 3,500. XD Well, Mom paid it. :))

ROCKING NIGHT! IT WAS AWESOME!
